Fourth Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 12th Legislature
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic convened the Fourth Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in its 12th legislature for Monday, 7 June 2021, starting at 10 am.
National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic ascertained the following one-item agenda for the sitting:
- Proposal to amend the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Government.
The item was presented by authorised representative of the submitter - Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic, Minister for Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue Gordana Comic and Minister of Justice Maja Popovic.
By the end of the day, the National Assembly completed the debate in principle on the Proposal to amend the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the only item on the agenda, the Chair, National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic set Monday, 7 June 2021, as Voting Day on the only item on the agenda of the Fourth Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 12th Legislature, starting at 6.37 pm.
Voting Day
On Voting Day, 7 June 2021, by two third majority, the National Assembly adopted the Proposal to amend the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Government.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the only item on the agenda, National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic concluded the Fourth Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 12th Legislature.
