Fourth Sitting of the Health and Family Committee
At the sitting held on 23 October 2012, the members of the Health and Family Committee discussed, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Medicines and Medical Devices, submitted by the Government.
Elaborating the Bill, Minister of Health Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, said that the reasons for adopting the Law are creating better conditions for the operation of business entities, reducing the costs of manufacturers and importers of medicines and medical devices, as well as other legal entities on the market in the Republic of Serbia.
Following a short debate, the Committee members adopted the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Medicines and Medical Devices, in principle.
The Committee sitting was also attended by representatives of the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency, as well as the members of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Chamber of Serbia.
The sitting was chaired by Prof. Dr Dusan Milisavljevic, Committee Chairman.
