At the sitting held on 23 April, the members of the Committee on Trade and Tourism considered the particulars of the Tourism Bill.

The Committee submitted modifications to the amendments to articles 45, 111, 115, 118, 119, 120 and 121 of the Bill. The Committee also submitted an amendment of its own to article 3 of the Bill.

A total of 82 amendments were submitted to the Bill (73 amendments by deputies and 9 amendments by the Government of the Republic of Serbia). In the course of the Committee sitting, deputy Dejan Nikolic retracted his amendment to article 14 of the Bill.

The Government of the Republic of Serbia accepted 17 amendments total. The Committee on Trade and Tourism considered 40 of the amendments (7 were accepted, 33 rejected), while the discussion on the remaining amendments will be continued on Friday, 24 April 2009.
