Fifty-Ninth Sitting of the Finance Committee

In line with article 77 of the Rules of Procedure, the Finance Committee held a sitting on 11 November, to consider the amendments submitted to the Bill on the indebtedness of the Republic of Serbia at KBC Banka a.



In line with article 77 of the Rules of Procedure, the Finance Committee held a sitting on 11 November, to consider the amendments submitted to the Bill on the indebtedness of the Republic of Serbia at KBC Banka a.d. Beograd, Nova Kreditna banka Maribor d.d., EUROBANK EFG a.d. Beograd, Vojvodjanska banka a.d. Novi Sad, Hypo-Alpe-Adria Bank a.d. Beograd and Erste Bank a.d. Novi Sad and at BANCA INTESA a.d. Beograd, UniCredit Bank Serbia a.d. Beograd, Raiffeisen bank a.d. Beograd and Societe Generale Bank Serbia a.d. Beograd which gave a joint offer (three amendments) and the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Societe Generale Bank Serbia a.d. Beograd and UniCredit Bank Serbia a.d. Beograd under the debt of JAT AIRWAYS a.d. Beograd air transport joint stock company (two amendments).

A representative of the Ministry of Finance informed the Committee that the Government accepted none of the five amendments submitted to the Bills.

The Committee members also considered the Rulebook on Internal Organisation and Job Systematisation at the Service of the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures and 2011 Financial Plan Proposal of the State Audit Institution.

The Committee members shall vote on the items on the agenda at the next sitting.

In the continuation of the sitting, on 22 November, the Committee members voted on the items on the agenda considered at the sitting on 11 November.

The Committee members did not accept the three amendments the deputies had submitted to the Bill on the indebtedness of the Republic of Serbia at KBC Banka a.d. Beograd, Nova Kreditna banka Maribor d.d., EUROBANK EFG a.d. Beograd, Vojvodjanska banka a.d. Novi Sad, Hypo-Alpe-Adria Bank a.d. Beograd and Erste Bank a.d. Novi Sad and at BANCA INTESA a.d. Beograd, UniCredit Bank Serbia a.d. Beograd, Raiffeisen bank a.d. Beograd and Societe Generale Bank Serbia a.d. Beograd which gave a joint offer. The Committee members did not accept the two amendments submitted to the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Societe Generale Bank Serbia a.d. Beograd and UniCredit Bank Serbia a.d. Beograd under the debt of JAT AIRWAYS a.d. Beograd air transport joint stock company either.

The Committee members granted consent to the Rulebook on Internal Organisation and Job Systematisation at the Service of the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures by a majority of votes and regarding the consent to the 2011 Financial Plan Proposal of the State Audit Institution, they concluded to invite representatives of to the Ministry of Finance and State Audit Institution to the next sitting so as to discuss the SAI’s financial plan for next year and receive answers about the over 170 million RSD discrepancy between the SAI’s plan and the funds the Ministry can afford for the institution’s operation next year.

The sitting was chaired by Zoran Krasic, Committee Chairman.
