Fifth Sitting of the Environmental Protection Committee

At the sitting held on 21 September, the members of the Environmental Protection Committee debated the amendments submitted to the Bills amending the Law on Ionizing Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety, on the Expiry of the Law on the Environmental Protection Fund and amending the Law on Chemicals.


The Committee members and the Government did not accept the three amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Ionizing Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety. For the purpose of legal-technical revision, the Committee submitted three amendments of its own to the Bill, namely to articles 7, 8 and 10.
The Committee and the Government did not accept the amendment submitted to the Bill on the Expiry of the Law on the Environmental Protection Fund either.
Out of the five amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Chemicals, the Committee and the Government accepted three. The Committee submitted an amendment of its own to article 15, for the purpose of legal-technical revision.

The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairperson, Milica Vojic Markovic.
