Fifth Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government
At the sitting held on 29 August, the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government discussed, in principle, the Bill amending the Law on Public Notaries, submitted by a group of 61 MPs.
The representative of the submitters, MP Vladimir Cvijan stated that the proposed amendments relate to the postponement of the implementation of the Law on Public Notaries from 1 September 2012 to 1 March 2013. The Committee members unanimously adopted the Bill in principle.
At the sitting, the Committee also considered the Bill modifying the Law on Extra-Judicial Procedure, submitted by a group of 61 MPs. MP Vladimir Cvijan, as representative of the submitters, said that the Bill should, to a large degree, address the problem of legally invisible persons by making a decree passed in an extra-judicial procedure grounds for being registered into the birth records. The Committee unanimously adopted the Bill modifying the Law on Extra-Judicial Procedure in principle.
