Fifth Sitting of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy

At the sitting held on 27 September 2024, the members of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy considered the Report of the Working group tasked with ascertaining the compliance of the participants of public competition for the election of bodies of the Commission for Protection of Competition with the conditions of said competition and adopted the Conclusion that all the participants of public competition for the election of bodies of the Commission for Protection of Competition had duly submitted their applications and relevant documentation, with two of the applicants having met the conditions for old age pension which, analogous with Article 24 of the Law on Protection of Competition, makes them unfit to perform said duties. The Competition criteria were met by 12 participants of the public competition.

The Committee members interviewed the participants of the public competition for the election of bodies of the Commission for Protection of Competition Stanko Bulajic, Dr Nina Vasic, Nebojsa Peric, Danijela Bokan, Miki Vidakovic, Miroslav Djosic, Veran Zecan, Dr Sinisa Milosevic, Mirjana Miskovic Vukasinovic, MA Jelena Popovic Markopulos and Dr Ivana Rakic.

Following the interviews the sitting was adjourned as candidate 12 Dr Miloje Obradovic was unable to attend. The continuation will be scheduled in due course.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Snezana Paunovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Doc. Dr Rastislav Dinic, Miroslav Kondic, Stanislava Janosevic, Tijana Davidovac, Dragan Stanojevic, Ana Beolica Martac, Nikola Radosavljevic, Dalibor Jekic, Dr Zivan Bajic, Goran Nikolic, Zeljko Veselinovic, Dr Tatjana Markovic-Topalovic, Prof. Dr Miloljub Albijanic and Zarko Ristic.
