The Committee ascertained that the resignation falls within the situation set out in article 88, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, thus proposing that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MP’s term of office as stipulated by article 88, paragraphs 3 and 4 of the same Law.

The Committee members went on to review requests of MPs Maja Gojkovic, Dubravka Kralj and Ivana Popovic to exercise the right to monthly cost compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade.

The Committee members unanimously adopted a certificate ascertaining the right to monthly cost compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade for MP Maja Gojkovic, in the period from 3 August to 28 October 2020 when her appointment as MP ended.

The Committee unanimously adopted a certificate ascertaining the right to monthly cost compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade for MP Dubravka Kralj in the amount of 35,000 RSD, starting from 1 September 2020, as well as MP Ivana Popovic, starting from 1 October 2020.

The Committee went on to consider and unanimously give a positive opinion to the requests submitted by MPs: Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic, Gojko Palalic, Dejan Kesar, Nenad Baros, Nandor Kiss, Dr Emese Uri, Akos Ujhelyi, Zoltan Pek, Dr Balint Pasztor, Zarko Micin and Marijana Krajnovic to assume another public office.

The Committee members also considered and gave a positive opinion to the requests submitted by National Assembly Secretary General Veljko Odalovic and Deputy Secretaries General Srdjan Smiljanic and Branko Marinkovic to assume another public office.

The Committee unanimously adopted a certificate ascertaining the termination of Miroslav Sestovic as National Assembly Speaker’s Chief-of-Staff on 3 August 2020 due to expiry of the term he was appointed for.

Finally, the Committee members considered and gave a positive opinion to the request submitted by Djordje Milicevic to assume another public office in addition to his post as MP, that of advisor to the director in the cabinet of the director of Srbijasume PE, based on employment contract.
