European Integration Committee Members Meet with EU Delegation in Serbia
Members of the Committee for European Integration of the National Assembly and Head of EU Delegation in Serbia, in the presence of senior staff of the Delegation, held a joint meeting to exchange information on the activities planned for the coming period, on both sides.
The meeting was chaired by Aleksandar Senic, president of the Committee for European Integration and Ambassador Michael Davenport, Head of the EU Delegation.
Special emphasis is placed on the intensification of future cooperation between the two institutions in order to monitor the start of negotiations on Serbia's membership in the EU and the comprehensive implementation of the SAA.
Participants talked about assistance to Serbia through EU pre-accession funds and planned projects, as well as the assistance provided by the Member States and EU institutions to provide mitigation of consequences of the recent floods.
The meeting was attended by European Integration Committee members Laszlo Varga, Dr Aleksandra Tomic, Dusica Stojkovic, Vesna Markovic, Irena Aleksic, Ninoslav Giric, Natasa Vuckovic, Gordana Comic, Branko Ruzic, Marija Obradovic and Djordje Stojsic.
