At the sitting held on 22 April, the members of the Committee on Science and Technological Development considered the particulars of the Bill on Technical Requirements for Products and Conformity Assessment and the Bill on Standardisation.

A total of 3 amendments were submitted to the Bill on Technical Requirements for Products and Conformity Assessment. The Government of the Republic of Serbia accepted none of them, and the Committee on Science and Technological Development rejected 2 of the amendments and will vote on the third in the continuation of the sitting.

The deputies had submitted a total of 31 amendments to the Bill on Standardisation. The Government of the Republic of Serbia submitted its opinion regarding 30 of the amendments, which it rejected, but did not submit an opinion on 1 amendment. The Committee considered and rejected 19 of the amendments, and will continue the debate on the particulars and vote on the remaining amendments on Friday, 24 April 2009.
