Ambassador Ming Gives National Assembly Speaker Congratulatory Telegram from the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China Zhao Leji
During today's meeting with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Serbia Li Ming, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic received the following congratulatory telegram from the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China Zhao Leji:
"Dear Madam Speaker, regarding your assumption of office of Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, I would like to, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, as well as on my own behalf, send you my most heartfelt congratulations and best wishes.
China and Serbia have a traditional friendship and our two countries cultivate mutual trust and support each other, while their steely friendship is deeply rooted in the hearts of our peoples. Under the strategic leadership of the heads of state of our two countries, Chinese-Serbian relations have maintained a dynamic trend of development in recent years and their cooperation in various fields is achieving fruitful results. The National People's Congress of China attaches great importance to the friendly and cooperative relations with the National Assembly of Serbia.
I am ready to make efforts together with you to deepen the cooperation between the legislative bodies of our two countries and strengthen communication regarding state leadership, using the important platform of the Commission for the Cooperation of the Legislative Bodies of China and Serbia, in order to contribute to the new and better development of the Chinese-Serbian comprehensive strategic partnership.
