96th session of the Legislative Committee

At its ninety-sixth session, held on 20 October 2005, the Legislative Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia discussed the Bill on the Prevention of Use of Illicit Substances in Sports, the Bill on Health and Safety at Work, the Bill on the Observance of Days of Public Mourning on the Territory of the Republic of Serbia, and the Bill on the Liability of Manufacturers for Faulty Merchandise.


At its ninety-sixth session, held on 20 October 2005, the Legislative Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia discussed the Bill on the Prevention of Use of Illicit Substances in Sports, the Bill on Health and Safety at Work, the Bill on the Observance of Days of Public Mourning on the Territory of the Republic of Serbia, and the Bill on the Liability of Manufacturers for Faulty Merchandise.

The Committee also discussed the Bill Amending the Act on Fines for Business Criminal Offences and Misdemeanours, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Judges Act, and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Ordering of Courts.

Members of the Legislative Committee also discussed the Misdemeanours Bill, the Public Roads Bill, the State Audit Institution Bill, the Foreign Trade Bill, the Police Bill, and the Tobacco Bill.

The Legislative Committee ruled that amendments submitted to the Police Bill by deputies Sanja Cekovic, Blagica Kostic, Stanisa Stevanovic and Milan Ninic were not legally possible. The remaining amendments submitted to the Police Bill, as well as all other amendments submitted to the remaining Bills, were declared legally possible.

Two amendments submitted by deputy Zoran Tanasijevic to the Tobacco Bill were rejected as not having been submitted in due time.

At this session, the Legislative Committee also endorsed the Articles of Association of the Republic Broadcasting Agency.


The session was chaired by the chairman of the Legislative Committee, Milos Aligrudic.
