73rd Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 13 May 2019, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending reviewed a number of reports of the State Audit Institution, Fiscal Council, Securities Commission and the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures.

The Committee reviewed the State Audit Institution 2018 Annual Activity Report, as well as reviewed and adopted the Fiscal Council 2017 Annual Activity Report and Fiscal Council 2018 Annual Activity Report. The Committee granted consent to the Proposal of Rulebook on the Internal Organisation and Job Systematisation at the Fiscal Council Support Service and adopted the Securities Commission 2018 Annual Report, second amendment to the Securities Commission 2018 Financial Plan and the Securities Commission 2019 Financial Plan.

The Committee adopted the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures Activity Report for the period 1 January 2018 – 31 December 2018 and the Report of the Public Procurement Office on the supervision of the implementation of the Public Procurement Law conducted in 2018.

The reports, financial plans and other documents were presented by the President of the Council State Audit Institution Dusko Pejovic, Fiscal Council members Vladimir Vuckovic and Nikola Altiparmakov, Chairman of the Securities Commission Marko Jankovic, President of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures Hana Hukic and acting director of the Public Procurement Office Sandra Damcevic.

The Committee members went on to ascertain the principles for the testing of candidates for the election of member of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures and scheduled the test for 3 June 2019 at 11 am.

The Committee also decided to launch proceedings for the election of member of the Securities Commission and ask the National Assembly parliamentary groups to submit nominations for Securities Commission member by 28 May 2019.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic and was attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zoran Bojanic, Goran Kovacevic, Sonja Vlahovic, Veroljub Arsic, Zoltan Pek, Momo Colakovic, Dr Milorad Mijatovic, Gorica Gajic, Olivera Pesic, Vojislav Vujic, Milorad Mircic and Zoran Despotovic.
