6th session of the Gender Equality Committee
At the Committee’ s sixth session, held on 31 May, members of the Gender Equality Committee discussed the reply of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Affairs to a father’s request for assets in accordance with the Act on Financial Assistance to Families with Children.
At the Committee’ s sixth session, held on 31 May, members of the Gender Equality Committee discussed the reply of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Affairs to a father’s request for assets in accordance with the Act on Financial Assistance to Families with Children.
The Committee is to write to the Ministry to express its position that any parent (not necessarily the mother) who is the guardian of children is entitled to assets foreseen by law.
