68th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues
At the sitting held on 28 December, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the amendments submitted to the bills on the agenda of the Twelfth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2014.
The MPs had submitted 96 amendments to the Energy Bill, out of which the Committee found 94 to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia, while two amendments were found not to comply with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee members found all four of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Planning and Construction, submitted by a group of 122 MPs of the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
All four of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Civil Registry Books were found to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The two the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Special Conditions for Registration of Ownership of the Facilities Built without a Building Permit, submitted by a group of 123 MPs of the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, were also found to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
