52nd Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 17 February, the European Integration Committee discussed, in principle, four of the bills on the agenda for the Fifth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2016.


The Committee members discussed the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Environmental Protection, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Nature Conservation, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Waste Management and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Livestock.

The bills were elaborated by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection.

Following a brief debate the Committee members decided to accept the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Environmental Protection, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Nature Conservation, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Waste Management and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Livestock, submitted by the Government, in principle.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Aleksandar Senic and attended by Committee members Nenad Nikolic, Marija Obradovic, Gordana Comic, Prim. Dr Ninoslav Giric, Mirjana Andric, Dusica Stojkovic, Vesna Markovic, Dr Ivan Bauer, Irena Aleksic and Stefana Miladinovic.
