4th session of the Children’s Rights Sub-Committee

At its sessions held on 19 July, the Children’s Rights Sub-Committee adopted its plan of activities for 2005.The session saw an exchange of opinions, and resulted in a proposal to send an official letter to the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Policy aimed at assessing the possibility of forming an assistance fund for children (especially those institutionalised at facilities for disabled or severely mentally handicapped children) to be financed by payment of one deputies’ daily wage per month.

The Sub-Committee’s session was chaired by its chairperson, Zivodarka Dacin.
