49th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 4 February, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Extradition Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the United States of America, submitted by the Government, and decided to propose that the National Assembly adopt it.

The Committee members went on to consider the Proposal of the Decision on the election of President of the Commercial Court in Leskovac, submitted by the High Judicial Council, and decided to propose that the National Assembly accept it.

The Committee also considered the Proposal of the Decision on the election of a judge to judicial office for the first time for the Misdemeanour Court in Presevo, submitted by the High Judicial Council. The Committee members decided to propose that the National Assembly accept the Decision Proposal.

The Committee formulated the Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of President of the Higher Court in Kragujevac and forwarded it to the National Assembly for consideration and ruling.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nedjo Jovanovic, Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic, Stanija Kompirovic, Aleksandra Majkic, Slavisa Bulatovic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Srbislav Filipovic, Djordje Komlenski, Dr Balint Pasztor and Marko Parezanovic.
