43rd Sitting of the European Integration Committee
At the 43rd sitting, held on 9 October, the European Integration Committee reviewed and accepted, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Railway Law, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Railway Safety and Interoperability and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Safety and Health in the Workplace, submitted by the Government.
At the sitting, the Committee also accepted the invitation to the 11th Conference of the European Integration/Affairs Committees of States Participating in the Stabilisation and Association Process of the South-East Europe, 22-24 October 2015 in Tirana. MPs Vladimir Orlic and Ljubisa Stojmirovic will be representing the Committee.
The sitting was concluded with the selection of Committee representatives for the seminar on The Ombudsman’s Role in Modern Parliamentary Democracy: A Regional Perspective in Brussels. Committee members Aleksandar Senic and Vesna Markovic will be representing the Committee.
The Bill amending and modifying the Railway Law and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Railway Safety and Interoperability were presented Nina Bozovic, representative of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, while Vera Bozic Trefalt, Head of the Directorate for Occupational Safety and Health, spoke about the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Safety and Health in the Workplace.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Aleksandar Senic.
