40th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

Government considered the Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of President of the Higher Court in Belgrade, Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of President of the Third Basic Court in Belgrade and the Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of President of the Misdemeanour Court in Nis.

Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic informed the Committee that the office of President of the Higher Court in Belgrade of Aleksandar Stepanovic is terminated due to his election for judge of the Supreme Court of Cassation, office of President of the Third Basic Court in Belgrade of Dusan Agatonovic is terminated due to his election for judge of the Higher Court in Belgrade, and the office of President of the Misdemeanour Court in Nis of Vera Cvjetkovic is terminated due to her election for judge of the Misdemeanour Appellate Court in Belgrade.

The Committee decided, by majority vote, to propose that the National Assembly accept the Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of President of the Higher Court in Belgrade, Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of President of the Third Basic Court in Belgrade and the Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of President of the Misdemeanour Court in Nis.


The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Majkic, Slavisa Bulatovic, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Srbislav Filipovic, Djordje Komlenski and Stanija Kompirovic.
