3rd session of the Committee on Defence and Security
At the session held on 27 February 2004, the Committee on Defence and Security discussed and unanimously accepted the Report of the Activities of the Security and Information Agency from July to December 2003 and the Report on the Security Situation in the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the the Security and Information Agency.
At the session held on 27 February 2004, the Committee on Defence and Security discussed and unanimously accepted the Report of the Activities of the Security and Information Agency from July to December 2003 and the Report on the Security Situation in the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the the Security and Information Agency. The session was attended by the Director of the the Security and Information Agency and his associates.
It was concluded that regular communication should be maintained between the Committee and the the Security and Information Agency in order to establish conditions necessary for the successful work of the Agency and the implementation of efficient parliamentary oversight of its work.
It was also decided that it was necessary to pass adequate and wide-ranging legislation required for the Agency’s activities.
