37th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending
The Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending held its 37th sitting on 18 October 2023, outside of the National Assembly seat, in the City of Zajecar.

For the sitting, the Committee members adopted the following agenda: 1. presentation of audit reports of public funds beneficiaries - City of Zajecar: Audit Report on the Consolidated Financial Reports of the Final Account of the City of Zajecar 2019 Budget; Business Expediency Audit Report – “The influence of the preparation of the decision on the local self-government units budget on the efficient and effective use of 2022 budget funds"; PUC "Vodovod", Zajecar 2017 Financial Reports and Regularity Audit Report; Regularity Audit Report in the part relating to the application of the law that regulates the calculation and payment of wages at the Public Communal - Housing Company "Zajecar", Zajecar for the year 2017 and the Audit Report on the 2020 Financial Statement Report of the Pharmacy Institution Zajecar, Zajecar and 2. review of the consolidated regularity and expediency audit reports on "Regularity and efficiency of public procurement planning in local government units with direct budget beneficiaries".
At the beginning of the sitting, the Committee members were welcomed by the Mayor of Zajecar Bosko Nicic.
The Committee members were then presented the consolidated audit reports on public fund beneficiaries - City of Zajecar: Audit Report on the Consolidated Financial Reports of the Final Account of the City of Zajecar 2019 Budget; Business Expediency Audit Report – “The influence of the preparation of the decision on the local self-government units budget on the efficient and effective use of 2022 budget funds"; PUC "Vodovod", Zajecar 2017 Financial Reports and Regularity Audit Report; Regularity Audit Report in the part relating to the application of the law that regulates the calculation and payment of wages at the Public Communal - Housing Company "Zajecar", Zajecar for the year 2017 and the Audit Report on the 2020 Financial Statement Report of the Pharmacy Institution Zajecar, Zajecar, by President of the Council of the State Audit Institution (DRI) and State Auditor-General Dr Dusko Pejovic.
The Committee proceeded to review the consolidated regularity and expediency audit reports on "Regularity and efficiency of public procurement planning in local government units with direct budget beneficiaries", presented by authorised state auditor Ivana Jevtic Stevanovic.
The sitting was attended by Stefan Zankov, President of the Assembly of the City of Zajecar, members of the Zajecar city administration, State Audit Institution and representatives of UNDP.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Bratimir Vasiljevic, Miroslav Kondic, MA Svetlana Milijic, Nikola Radosavljevic, Darko Jovanovic, Tijana Davidovac, Zoran Stojanovic, Dejan Manic and Dragan M. Markovic.
The Committee sitting outside of the National Assembly seat was supported by project “Strengthening Parliamentary Democracy and Inclusive Political Dialogue”, conducted by UNDP with the support of Switzerland.
