36th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 15 June, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered the bills on the agenda of the Seventh Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th legislature, in detail.

The Government and the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept three of the 603 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Local Self-Government, and not accept the remaining 600.

The Government and the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept none of the seven amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on State Administration.

The Government and the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept three of the 106 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Civil Registry Books, and reject the remaining 103.

The Government and the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept two of the 109 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public Agencies, and reject the remaining 107.

The Government and the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept two of the 130 amendments submitted to the Bill on Salaries of Employees of Public Agencies and Other Organizations Founded by the Republic of Serbia, Autonomous Province or Local Self-Government Unit, and reject the remaining 128.

The Government and the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept one of the seven amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Official Use of Languages and Scripts, and reject the remaining six.

The Government and the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept none of the four amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Territorial Organization of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Majkic, Slavisa Bulatovic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Jovan Palalic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Djordje Komlenski, Zarko Micin, Balint Pasztor and Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
