34th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government
At the sitting held on 8 June, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered the nomination for the election of Anti-Corruption Agency Board member submitted by the Serbian journalists’ associations and the nomination for the election of Anti-Corruption Agency Board member submitted by the Ombudsman and the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
Before moving onto item two on the agenda the Committee members unanimously declared null and void paragraph 7 of the notification submitted to the National Assembly on 6 July 2017.
The Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection proposed that the National Assembly elect Vida Petrovic Skero Anti-Corruption Agency Board member and the Ombudsman proposed that the National Assembly elect Janko Lazarevic Anti-Corruption Agency Board member.
The Committee members unanimously accepted both nominations and forwarded the proposal to the National Assembly for consideration.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Majkic, Slavisa Bulatovic, Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Djordje Komlenski, Zarko Micin and Balint Pasztor.
