33rd Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 18 June, the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee considered and unanimously accepted several initiatives for upcoming visits of National Assembly delegations.

The Committee members were then informed about visits realised in the previous period and decided to forward the reports on them to the MPs for further information, also noting all the other contacts realised in the previous period.

Committee Chairperson Aleksandra Djurovic informed the Committee members that the name of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Countries of the Gulf should be amended to Parliamentary Friendship Group with Qatar, since separate PFGs have already been set up with each of the other countries comprising the PFG (Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia). The Committee unanimously decided to accept the change of the PFG name, with no changes to its composition.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Aleksandra Djurovic.
