31st session of the Culture and Information Committee
At its session held on 24 October 2004, the Culture and Information Committee endorsed in principle the Bill on the Observance of Days of Public Mourning on the Territory of the Republic of Serbia.
At its session held on 24 October 2004, the Culture and Information Committee endorsed in principle the Bill on the Observance of Days of Public Mourning on the Territory of the Republic of Serbia.
Committee members also endorsed the Decision Amending the Articles of Association of the Republic Broadcasting Agency, submitted by the Republic Broadcasting Agency.
At the initiative of the Committee’s chairman, Aleksandar Lazarevic, the deputies agreed, in principle, to exercise their right to parliamentary oversight, and visit all cultural institutions financed from the budget of the Republic of Serbia.
Committee member Miroslav Jankovic informed the deputies with activities of parliaments of Western Balkan countries organised by the European Movement. As part of that project, members of parliaments from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Republic of Srpska are to visit the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia on Wednesday 26 October 2005 to meet with members of the Culture and Information Committee and another three committees.
The session was attended by the Minister of Culture in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Dragan Kojadinovic, and chaired by the Committee’s chairman, Aleksandar Lazarevic.
