26th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government
At the sitting held on 15 December, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government deliberated on the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Enforcement and Security, submitted by a group of 131 MPs, in principle, and the Rulebook on Internal Organisation and Job Systematisation at the Anti-Corruption Agency Support Service.
The Committee members granted unanimous consent to the Rulebook on Internal Organisation and Job Systematisation at the Anti-Corruption Agency Support Service.
As representative of the submitters, MP Biljana Pantic Pilja then proceeded to elaborate on the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Enforcement and Security, submitted by a group of 131 MPs. She explained that it related to an amendment of one article of the Law on Enforcement and Security – article 252 by which the enforcement officer would be obliged to, before submitting the motion to enforce compensation for communal and similar services rendered, request that the Chamber appoint an enforcement officer based on a valid ID, with the enforcement officer on whose territory the debtor resides being the only to bear authority.
Following a short debate the Committee members decided to accept and suggest that the national Assembly accept the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Enforcement and Security, submitted by a group of 131 MPs, in principle.
The sitting was chaired by Petar Petrovic, Committee Chairman.
