26th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 31 July, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments submitted to the Bill on Public Information and Media, Bill on Electronic Media and the Bill on Public Media Services.


Out of the 96 amendments submitted to the Bill on Public Information and Media, the Committee found the three amendments submitted by the MPs to article 8 of the Bill, non-compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

Out of the 64 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill on Electronic Media, the Committee found one, submitted to article 7, non-compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also found one of the 53 amendments submitted to the Bill on Public Media Services, viz. to article 45, non-compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
