25th Sitting of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee

At the sitting held on 30 January 2018, the members of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee reviewed the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Activity Information for the fourth quarter of 2017.

The Information was presented by Velimir Stanojevic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, who said that in the fourth quarter of 2017 the Ministry had adopted four ordinances and 12 rulebooks, among them the Rulebook on quality of raw milk and the Rulebook on small quantities of primary products. As regards international cooperation and the EU accession process, Stanojevic said that the Serbian Government had adopted the negotiation position for Chapter 13: Fisheries and submitted the document to the European Commission, as well as the Draft Action Plan for Chapter 11. He added that the external audit for the use of IPARD funds had been completed, fruit production zoning project implemented and the milk quality control lab launched with the aim to ascertain the quality at primary producers and improve the production of milk in Serbia.

Following a debate, the Committee adopted the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Activity Information for the fourth quarter of 2017, by majority vote.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Marijan Risticevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Veroljub Matic, Radovan Jancic, Ognjen Pantovic, Mladen Lukic, Zarko Bogatinovic, Nada Lazic, Marjana Maras, Arpad Fremond, Vladimir Djuric, Milija Miletic, Tijana Davidovac, Milorad Mircic and Miroslav Aleksic.
