The Committee discussed the Report on the activities of the Public Procurement Directorate and the Commission for the Protection of Bidders’ Rights for the periods from 1 January to 30 June 2004 and from 1 July to 31 August 2004. The deputies noted that the Report was much more comprehensive than those submitted previously, and asked both bodies to submit monthly activity reports in similar form in the future.
The Committee established the Proposal of the Decision Confirming the Annual Balance Sheet of the Securities and Exchange Commission for 2003, the Commission’s Operating Report and the Authorised Auditor’s Report, as well as the Proposal of the Decision Confirming the Financial Plan of the Securities and Exchange Commission for 2004. The Proposals of Decisions were forwarded to the National Assembly for passage.
