18th Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 13 November, the Foreign Affairs Committee first amended its agenda to include the initiative proposal for a visit of the French National Assembly’s Parliamentary Friendship Group with Serbia.

The Foreign Affairs Committee members went on to adopt several initiatives for visits in the upcoming period, noted the regular activities of the National Assembly’s standing delegations and adopted reports on visits realised in the previous period.

The Committee also adopted the Bill on the Confirmation of the International Convention against the Recruitment, Use, Financing and Training of Mercenaries. The Bill was elaborated on the behalf of the submitter by Slavoljub Caric, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Committee went on to adopt records on other contacts realised and note changes in the composition of several parliamentary friendship groups.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Aleksandra Djurovic.
