14th session of the Culture and Information Committee
The Report on Proposals (of lists of candidates) for Members of the Council of the Republic Broadcasting Agency Submitted by Authorised Bodies was discussed at the fourteenth session of the Culture and Information Committee, held on 29 September 2004.The Committee resolved to ask professional associations, who form one category of bodies authorised to submit candidates, to bring their proposals in line with legislation within 15 days and then re-submit the complete forms.
The Report on Proposals (of lists of candidates) for Members of the Council of the Republic Broadcasting Agency Submitted by Authorised Bodies was discussed at the fourteenth session of the Culture and Information Committee, held on 29 September 2004.
The Committee resolved to ask professional associations, who form one category of bodies authorised to submit candidates, to bring their proposals in line with legislation within 15 days and then re-submit the complete forms.
The session also discussed proposals submitted by non-governmental organisations. It was decided to grant another 7 days for the organisations to present certificates of registration, information on any publishing activities, as well as initiatives and actions implemented. If the Committee is unable to decide which non-governmental organisations meet the necessary criteria, it will grant an extra 15 days for the organisations to present further data.
