140th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues
At the sitting held on 15 October, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Railway Law, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Railway Safety and Interoperability, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Safety and Health in the Workplace and the Bill on Requirements for Assigning Employees to Temporarily Work Abroad and their Protection, submitted by the Government.
The Committee found all four of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Railway Safety and Interoperability, compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
To the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Safety and Health in the Workplace, the MPs had submitted 22 amendments, out of which the amendments to Article 15, to which Article 15a was added, was rejected as incomplete. The Committee members found the rest of the amendments to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee found all 26 of the amendments submitted to the Bill on Requirements for Assigning Employees to Temporarily Work Abroad and their Protection to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The sitting was attended by Mirjana Trifunovic and Ivana Bozic of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Vera Bozic Trefalt, Head of the Directorate for Occupational Safety and Health, and Zoran Lazic, Assistant Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
