On the first day, 16 October 2024, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Customs Matters, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Customs Matters, Bill on the Confirmation of the EUR 178,382,740.33 Term Facility Agreement between the Republic of Serbia Represented by the Government of the Republic Of Serbia acting by and through the Ministry of Finance as Borrower arranged by Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft Filiale Hong Kong (incorporated in the Federal Republic of Germany & Members' Liability is Limited) as Structuring Bank and Mandated Lead Arranger and Facility Agent and Sinosure Agent, all submitted by the Government.
The Committee members accepted the proposal of Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic to complete a joint single debate on all three bills.
After the representatives of the Ministry of Finance, as representatives of the submitter, had presented the bills and having completed the debate on them, the Committee members accepted all three bills by majority vote.
The Committee then considered the Report of the Working Group ascertaining the regularity of the procedure for the proposal of candidates for the election of President of the Commission for State Aid Control presented by Dr Zivan Bajic as representative of the Working Group, after which the Committee accepted the Report.
Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic informed the Committee members that candidate for the election of President of the Commission for State Aid Control Jasna Trifunovic had withdrawn her candidacy and that candidate Stanko Bulajic had informed the Committee’s service that he cannot attend the sitting due to illness, so the Committee members interviewed the following candidates: Dusica Djordjevic, Bachelor of Laws, Dragan Djurdjevic, Master of Economics, and Dusan Rolovic, Bachelor of Economics.
Following the interview of the three candidates for the election of President of the Commission for State Aid Control, Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic informed the Committee members that the sitting will have to be completed at a later date so that all the candidates can be duly interviewed and therefore the Committee would forego the formulation of the List of Candidates for the election of President of the Commission for State Aid Control, of which they would all be duly informed.

The continuation held on 5 November 2024 started with a minute’s silence, paying respect to the victims of the tragedy in Novi Sad on 1 November 2024. The Committee members then interviewed Stanko Bulajic, doctor of economics, candidate for the election of President of the Commission for State Aid Control, after which it ascertained the List of candidates for the election of President of the Commission for State Aid Control, proposing that the National Assembly elect Bachelor of Arts Dusica Djordjevic President of the Commission for State Aid Control.
