12th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015
At the request of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic convened the 12th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015, for Thursday, 2 July 2015, starting at 10 am.
1. Bill amending and modifying the Mortgage Law, and
2. Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement among the States Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty and the other States participating in the Partnership for Peace regarding the Status of their Forces, accompanied by the Additional Protocol to the Agreement among the States Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty and the other States participating in the Partnership for Peace regarding the Status of their Forces and the Further Additional Protocol to the Agreement among the States Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty and the other States participating in the Partnership for Peace regarding the Status of their Forces.
Before moving onto the agenda, the heads i.e. authorised representatives of the parliamentary groups, MPs Sabina Dazdarevic, Ivan Karic, Olena Papuga and Jasmina Obradovic, requested information and explanations in line with article 287 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
The National Assembly then commenced a debate in principle on the Bill amending and modifying the Mortgage Law, elaborated on the behalf of the submitter by Minister of Finance Dr Dusan Vujovic.
By the end of the day, the National Assembly had concluded the debate in principle on the Bill amending and modifying the Mortgage Law.
The National Assembly adjourned the 12th Extraordinary Session in order to pose parliamentary questions to the Government of the Republic of Serbia, pursuant to article 205, paragraph 3, of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
On the second day of the proceedings, 6 July, the National Assembly commenced and, by the end of the day, concluded the single debate on the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement among the States Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty and the other States participating in the Partnership for Peace regarding the Status of their Forces, accompanied by the Additional Protocol to the Agreement among the States Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty and the other States participating in the Partnership for Peace regarding the Status of their Forces and the Further Additional Protocol to the Agreement among the States Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty and the other States participating in the Partnership for Peace regarding the Status of their Forces.
Representative of the submitter, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic provided the rationale on the Bill.
On the third day of the proceedings, 7 July, before moving onto the agenda, the heads i.e. authorised representatives of the parliamentary groups, MPs Mirko Cikiriz, Slobodan Homen, Aleksandar Martinovic and Borislav Stefanovic, requested information and explanations in line with article 287 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
By the end of the day, the National Assembly had completed a debate in detail on the Bill amending and modifying the Mortgage Law.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate, in principle and in detail, on all the items on the agenda, the Chair, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Konstantin Arsenovic, set Tuesday, 7 July, as Voting Day on all the items on the agenda for the 12th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015, starting at 4.40 pm.
Voting Day
On Voting Day, 7 July, by majority vote, the National Assembly passed the Bill amending and modifying the Mortgage Law and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement among the States Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty and the other States participating in the Partnership for Peace regarding the Status of their Forces, accompanied by the Additional Protocol to the Agreement among the States Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty and the other States participating in the Partnership for Peace regarding the Status of their Forces and the Further Additional Protocol to the Agreement among the States Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty and the other States participating in the Partnership for Peace regarding the Status of their Forces.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda and ruled on them, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic concluded the 12th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015.
