116th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 19 June, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the amendments submitted to the Bill on Anti-Hail Protection, Bill on Flammable and Combustible Liquids and Flammable Gases and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Ministries.

The MPs had submitted 73 amendments to the Bill on Anti-Hail Protection. The Committee found 71 of the amendments compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia, while two of the amendments, the one submitted to Article 14 by MPs Nenad Canak, Bojan Kostres, Olena Papuga and Djordje Stojsic, and the one submitted to Article 21 by MPs Marijan Risticevic, Miodrag Nikolic, Milija Miletic and Zarko Bogatinovic, were found not to comply with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found all 24 amendments submitted to the Bill on Flammable and Combustible Liquids and Flammable Gases compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also found the amendment submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Ministries compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
