The Section for Information Research Affairs collects, processes and forwards information and prepares analytical reviews aimed at providing support to the realization of the functions of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. Via cooperation with the research services of national parliaments and international organisations, particularly the European Centre for Parliamentary Research and Documentation, we follow the modern trends in the exchange of knowledge in parliamentary work.

The Section for Information Research Affairs allows the MPs, parliamentary groups, working bodies and employees of the National Assembly Service access to all the acts in assembly procedure, legal acts of the Republic of Serbia, the European Union and other countries and international organisations.

The research-analysts conduct expert analyses and collect information at the request of the MPs, parliamentary groups, working bodies and employees of the National Assembly Service about the legislation of the Republic of Serbia, as well as other economic, social and political issues with a special focus on examples of good practice applied in other political systems.
