Twenty-Eighth Sitting of the Committee on Science and Technological Development
At the sitting held on 10 September, the members of the Committee on Science and Technological Development considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement on scientific and technological cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Italy and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement on scientific and technological cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the United States of America, submitted to the National Assembly by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

Zajecar Basic Court Judge Takes Oath of Office Before NARS Speaker
Judge Ivana Dinic of Zajecar, elected into office on 28 July 2010 at the proposal of the High Judicial Council, took the oath of office before the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic on Thursday 9 September 2010. Dinic took the oath at a later date as she was unable to attend the oath taking ceremony along with the other special and general jurisdiction judges elected at the sitting of the Fifth Extraordinary NARS Session held on 28 July 2010. On the occasion, the NARS Speaker stated: “I am sure that in your three years in office at a general jurisdiction court you shall give a personal contribution to the continued reform of the judicial system intended to create an independent, modern and efficient judiciary and promote the rule of law”.

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, in official visit to Ljubljana at the invitation of her counterpart, Slovenian National Assembly Speaker Pavel Gantar, was received by the President of the Republic of Slovenia Danilo Türk and Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor.
