UN Resolution Condemning Serbia for Genocide is Shameful, Says Dubravka Filipovski Before Council of Europe's Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights

Dubravka Filipovski, member of the Council of Europe Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights, spoke as part of the panel dedicated to the International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide, before the Council of Europe Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights.

On the occasion, she pointed out that the suffering of Armenians is reminiscent of the suffering of Serbs in their history, which unfortunately has never been recognized or condemned.

"The UN Resolution condemning Serbia for genocide is shameful. Two-thirds of the world's population was against this resolution at the United Nations on 23 May of this year. We will never accept it and we will fight for the truth," Filipovski emphasised before the Council of Europe Committee.
