Twenty-Seventh Sitting of the Legislative Committee

At the twenty-seventh sitting held on 26 December, the Legislative Committee continued the discussion on the amendments to the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2009, with its accompanying Memorandum on the Budget and Economic and Fiscal Policy for 2009, projections for 2010 and 2011 and proposals of decisions granting consent to financial plans for 2009 of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees, the Republic Health Insurance Agency and the National Employment Service, submitted by the Government.



At the twenty-seventh sitting held on 26 December, the Legislative Committee continued the discussion on the amendments to the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2009, with its accompanying Memorandum on the Budget and Economic and Fiscal Policy for 2009, projections for 2010 and 2011 and proposals of decisions granting consent to financial plans for 2009 of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees, the Republic Health Insurance Agency and the National Employment Service, submitted by the Government.

At this sitting, the Committee completed the discussion on all the amendments submitted to the Budget Bill (248). The Committee members unanimously deemed most of the amendments legally feasible, while about twenty of the submitted amendments were deemed not to be in line with the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia and the Budget System Law.

The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Vlatko Ratkovic.
