Twenty-Second Sitting of the Privatisation Committee
At the sitting held on 9 June, the Privatisation Committee considered and accepted the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Reports on the Activities of the Privatisation Agency for April and May 2010.The Committee also considered and accepted the Privatisation Agency’s Work Programmes for May and June 2010. In addition, the Committee also accepted the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Report on the Activities of the Republic of Serbia Share Fund for May 2010. The Committee went on to consider the Privatisation Agency’s Information on the privatisation process of “Autoprevoz” economic association, now ATP “Morava” AD, and the Republic of Serbia Share Fund Information on the status of privatisation subject ATP “Morava” from Vrnjacka Banja.

The Committee also considered the Privatisation Agency’s Information on the privatisation process and monitoring of compliance with contractual obligation by the buyer which privatised AD “Zastava PES”, now “Partners PES” from Surdulica. The representatives of the company pointed out the irregularities in the privatisation process, adding that the employees of the factory who had previously produced spare parts for Zastava Kragujevac had lost their jobs by Fiat’s entry into
Vladimir Cvetkovic, Privatisation Agency Director, said that company’s business transactions had been controlled eight times in the past three years and that the Agency was reviewing the owner’s documentation and would submit a report on it to the Committee.
The Committee members proposed that the owners of unsuccessfully privatised companies be invited to the sittings when such cases are discussed in future.
The sitting was chaired by Milan Nikolic, Committee Chairman.
