Twenty-Eighth Sitting of the European Integrations Committee
At the sitting held on 13 July, the European Integrations Committee debated in principle three of the Bills on the agenda for the Fourth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly in 2010 viz.
At the sitting held on 13 July, the European Integrations Committee debated in principle three of the Bills on the agenda for the Fourth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly in 2010 viz. the Bill on Trade and the Bills amending and modifying the Law on Road Traffic Safety and the Law on the Anti-Corruption Agency.
The basic solutions contained in the Bill on Trade were elaborated by a representative of the Ministry of Trade and Services who, inter alia, stressed that the adoption of the Bill aims to ensure a stable and well-stocked marked.
A Ministry of Interior representative briefed the Committee members on the amendments and modifications to the Law on Road Traffic Safety which would ensure a consistent observance of the regulations and a higher traffic safety, as well as harmonisation with international documents.
A Ministry of Justice representative explained the amendments and modifications to the Law on the Anti-Corruption Agency, pointing out that they specify some of the provisions of the existing law in order to ensure a more consistent implementation.
The Committee members endorsed the Bills in principle, by a majority of votes.
The sitting was chaired by Laszlo Varga, Committee Chairman.
