Thirteenth Sitting of the Legislative Committee
At the thirteenth sitting, held on 16 October, the Legislative Committee considered the amendments submitted to the bills on foreigners, on the protection of the state border and amending and modifying the Law on Higher Education.
At the thirteenth sitting, held on 16 October, the Legislative Committee considered the amendments submitted to the bills on foreigners, on the protection of the state border and amending and modifying the Law on Higher Education.
On the behalf of the submitters of the bills, the Committee sitting was attended by Miodrag Todorovic, State Secretary of the Ministry of Interior and Aleksandar Veljkovic, undersecretary at the Secretariat of the Ministry of Interior.
The deputies submitted 41 amendments in total to the Bill on foreigners. The Legislative Committee deemed 40 of the amendments legally feasible, while the amendment deputy Dragan Stevanovic submitted to article 11 of the Bill was deemed not legally feasible.
The Committee members deemed all 15 amendments submitted to the Bill on the protection of the state border legally feasible, as well as the two amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Higher Education.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman Vlatko Ratkovic.
