Third Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in its 12th Legislature

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic convened the Third Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in its 12th legislature for Tuesday, 13 April 2021, starting at 10 am.

The following one-item agenda for the sitting was adopted:

  1. Oath-taking of the President of the Supreme Court of Cassation.
National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic informed the MPs that, at the Sixth Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2021, held on 8 April 2021, the National Assembly had elected Jasmina Vasovic President of the Supreme Court of Cassation.

As Article 53, paragraph 2 of the Law on Judges stipulates that the President of the Supreme Court of Cassation shall take the oath of office before the National Assembly, the National Assembly Speaker called on Jasmina Vasovic, President of the Supreme Court of Cassation, to take the oath of office.

Following the oath-taking, the National Assembly Speaker congratulated Jasmina Vasovic, President of the Supreme Court of Cassation, on behalf of the MPs and his own behalf, and wished her success.

Having signed and handed over the oath, the President of the Supreme Court of Cassation addressed the MPs.

National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic concluded the Third Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 12th Legislature.
