Third Sitting of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy

At the third sitting, held on 17 November, the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy reviewed the Ministry of Economy Activity Information for the period July-September 2020 and the Ministry of Economy Report on the privatisation process for August and September 2020.
Congratulating the newly-elected Minister of Economy and wishing her success in her endeavours, Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic said that he had convened the sitting to analyse the reports on the agenda and see what are the results of the state’s serious investments into the economy in the previous period and its preservation once the pandemics is over.

Minister of Economy Andjelka Atanackovic said that in the coming period the Ministry would be focusing on privatisation and, like previously, the state would do all in its power to help and support the economy and its subjects who had suffered losses due to the corona pandemic.

Presenting the Ministry’s Activity Information, State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy Dragan Stevanovic stressed that Serbia is one of the few countries which had found adequate measures and ways to support the economy in times of the corona crisis, especially small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Committee members unanimously accepted the Ministry of Economy Activity Information for the period July-September 2020 and the Ministry of Economy Report on the privatisation process for August and September 2020.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dragomir Karic, Aleksandra Camagic, Nenad Krstic, Adrijana Pupovac, Vesna Stambolic, Janko Langura, Snezana Petrovic, Milos Bandjur, Natasa Ljubicic, Zoran Tomic, Ivana Popovic, Ana Beloica, Snezana Paunovic, Ugljesa Markovic and Jasmina Karanac.
