Speaker Maja Gojkovic Sends Condolences on Terrorist Attack in Spain
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic sent a telegram of condolences to the presidents of the Spanish Congress of Deputies and the Senate, Ana Pastor and Pio Garcia-Escudero, on the terrorist attack in Barcelona.
The telegram of condolences states:
“We were deeply distressed by the news of the tragic event in Barcelona, the terrorist attack and death of innocent people on Las Ramblas. Please allow me to extend deepest condolences to you and the families of the victims on the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself, on this most brutal terrorist attack.
Facing such horrific and mindless acts strengthens our awareness that only through concentrated efforts can we oppose this boundless and indiscriminate evil.
Please accept our support and convey your sincerest sympathies to the families of the victims and wishes for a speedy recovery of the injured.”
