Sixth Sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications

At the sitting held on 1 November 2024 in Dobanovci, the members of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications considered the Radiofrequency Spectrum Monitoring System and construction of the new KMC Belgrade complex.


Committee Chairman Ugljesa Markovic said that this is the second Committee sitting held in the Control and Measurement Centre in Dobanovci. The Committee held its first sitting there on 21 September 21, 2016 when it discussed the construction of this complex.

Dragan Pejovic, Director of RATEL, addressed the attending and pointed out that, speaking of postal services, during 2024 RATEL has, in accordance with the postal traffic development strategy, actively participated in the drafting of a new law on postal services, which is currently under public discussion. Speaking about information security, Pejovic pointed out that the drafting of the law on information security has entered the final stage and should be presented before the parliament at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year. Speaking of electronic communications, the Director of RATEL said that the drafting of 52 regulations required to be adopted in accordance with the Law on Electronic Communications which entered into force on 7 May 2023, has been completed.

In the continuation of the sitting, the, head of the Radiofrequency Spectrum Control Service, Mirjana Marceta presented the radiofrequency spectrum monitoring system, results achieved so far and further plans.

The sitting was also attended by the Council Vice-President Petar Stijovic, members Prof. Dr Dejan Markovic, Dr Vladimir Krstic, Technical Director MSc Dragoljub Stefanovic, and chief-of-staff Ana Skocic.

After the presentation, the Committee Chairman closed the sitting and announced the continuation of work by touring the control and measurement vehicles.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Ugljesa Markovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Miroslav Petrasinovic, Stasa Stojanovic, Dragana Arsic, Tomislav Jankovic, Ivan Rajicic, Miroslav Kondic, Dalibor Scekic, Ugljesa Markovic, Jasmina Karanac, Nenad Filipovic, Tatjana Markovic Topalovic and Darko Jovanovic.
