Security Services Control Committee Chairman MA Igor Becic Meets with Minister of Interior Aleksandar Vulin

The Chairman of the Security Services Control Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia MA Igor Becic met today with the Minister of the Interior Aleksandar Vulin to discuss the security situation in the Republic of Serbia.


Minister Vulin said that all the security services are absolutely committed to maintaining peace and stability.

"President Aleksandar Vucic’s determination that Serbia should make its own decisions and our economic progress, thanks to which Serbia is becoming stronger, also contribute to making our citizens feel safe and secure", said Minister Vulin.

The Minister added that Serbia, led by Vucic, will continue to invest in the police and the army, not to threaten anyone, but to be able and ready to maintain its stability and security.

The Chairman of the Security Services Control Committee MA Igor Becic praised the work of the Ministry of the Interior and its excellent and notable results, especially during Minister Vulin’s term of office.

"The results of the Ministry of the Interior are both visible and impressive, thanks to Minister Vulin’s commitment to the job, as well the unreserved support of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in the fight against all types of crime. The Serbian police has regained the citizens' trust", Becic opined.

He added that the cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior and the Serbian Parliament’s Security Services Control Committee is at an extremely high level and that all members of the Committee highly appreciate the work of the Ministry of the Interior and Minister Vulin.

On behalf of the Security Services Control Committee, MA Igor Becic presented Minister Vulin with a plaque for his exceptional contribution and strengthening of the capacities of the security sector and parliamentary control of the security services.
