PFG with Belarus Meets with Belarus Council of Republic Delegation

The Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Belarus Dragomir Karic and PFG member Momir Stojilkovic met today at the National Assembly with the delegation of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus visiting the Republic of Serbia to attend the 60th plenary session of the 60th General Assembly of the of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC).

Dragomir Karic emphasised the importance of this meeting, saying that close contacts between parliamentarians can greatly contribute to the improvement of economic cooperation between our two countries.

Dragomir Karic thanked Belarus for its support of Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, with Momir Stojilkovic adding that Serbia has always had the support of Belarus in difficult historical moments.

Tatiana Runets, member of the Belarusian parliamentary delegation, agreed that parliamentarians open up opportunities for economic cooperation and increasing trade between the two countries. She added that there is a possibility for successful cooperation through joint work on infrastructure projects.

The meeting was also attended by the Belarussian Ambassador to Serbia, Valery Brylev.
