Ninth Sitting of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society

At the sitting held on 23 June 2021, the members of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society considered, in principle, the Bill on Student Organisation and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Higher Education.

Before moving onto the agenda, MP Marina Ragus proposed to add one more item onto it – the proposal for the Subcommittee on the Information Society and Digitalisation to organise a public hearing on “Open data and their use” on 9 July 2021 in the National Assembly House.

The bills were presented by Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Branko Ruzic as the authorised representative of the submitter.

Following a debate, the Committee members proposed that the National Assembly accept the bills, as well as the proposal to organise a public hearing on “Open data and their use”.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Academician Muamer Zukorlic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Samira Cosovic, Nandor Kiss, Goran Spasojevic, Milijana Sakic, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Marina Ragus, Milica Dacic, Natasa Jovanovic, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Vladica Maricic and Nevena Djuric.
